The Podcast Presenters

Alasdair Hooper is an NCTJ-qualified gold standard journalist currently working for Essex Live.

He is the host of the Humans of Chelmsford podcast, is a former British fencer and is also a big fan of both football and ice hockey.

Alasdair is a history and politics graduate from the University of Dundee and has written for the likes of talkSPORT, Sportsbeat, The Offside Rule, Youth Football Scotland, Scottish Fencing and the Scottish FA.


Will Moulton is an NCTJ-qualified gold standard journalist and is now working in the communications department of England Hockey.

Cricket is Will’s main passion but he follows, and has participated in, a number of sports and has two national cheerleading titles to his name (seriously!).

His dream is to commentate at an Olympic Games and hopes that SportSpiel will provide the platform that leads to that being accomplished.
